I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Identify The Graph - 42 Graphs - With Answers!!!!

Aimed at the higher level GCSE pupl, this is a phenomenal set of graphs in two formats: Students are shown 42 different graphs and have to work out the equation of the graph using roots and intercepts. I have used this Powerpoint for years and students always find it useful. Graphs include: Straight Lines Quadratics Cubics Power curves Square roots Reciprocals Trigonometrical and even one Quartic. You can, of course, rearrange the slides and take some of the more difficult questions out if you wish. It is an excellent exercise or starter. I have included the Powerpoint and the same 42 graphs on a PDF for tutors and revision. These took a tremendous amount of work and are absolutely priceless. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you

This pdf has around 50 questions on graphing logarithms and exponentials. Question 1 looks at the shape of the graphs, asymptotes and points of intersection with axes. Question 2 looks at finding the inverse of a logarithmic or exponential function. Question 3 looks at finding the equation of the graph given 2 points on the curve. Question 4 looks at using logs to create a straight line graph. This is a very thorough set of questions which covers all that you will need. Answers are included. Answers are included. please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This is a basic worksheet covering the introduction to Probability I wished to stress the basic facts that examiners expected candidates to know, such as how many cards in a standard deck? which letters are vowels as well as number properties. So I created this worksheet to cover as many of these ideas as possible. I have found it useful for the introduction of Probability and also some revision at foundation level. ****Answers are included.
