Back To School Amazing Mazes

(0)
Mazes help fine motor control. Mazes require your students to control their pencils through the maze without hitting the black lines. This means that they must take their time rather than rushing, in order to have greater success. Progress can be observed as your students bump into the black lines less and less as they gain greater control of their writing utensils. Students use fine motor control in order to produce correct letter formation and legible handwriting. Mazes are great for problem solving: Mazes help your students to work on their executive functioning skills, such as planning and brainstorming various strategies (e.g. starting from the beginning of the maze or working backwards from the end of maze). Included in this pack are templates for your students to extend themselves by creating and sharing their own mazes with each other. This is one of my classes favorite things to do. This Pack contains 20 A4 sized mazes and their solutions 10 x normal rectangular mazes 5 x circular mazes 5 x hexagonal maze 1 x Bonus square maze template 1 x Bonus hexagonal maze template Enjoy I know my class love them

Escape Room: Fortnite: The Supply Drop Math Mystery

Students love Escape Rooms and Fortnite. Combine them and it is a hit. Capture their imagination with this escape room and get the students excited for learning. This Fortnite Escape Room can work for both individuals and groups. I typically print off the clues in color, laminate them for durability, and scatter them around the room. I place the students in groups of 2-4. The students work their way around the clues solving them and putting the answers on the students page (which I double side, as it has the story on one side and a space for the answers on the other). When they have finished they check back in with the teacher to confirm if they are correct. I typically give them a chocolate at this stage (but that is up to you) The Story: As the storm finishes closing in you decide to check your supplies before heading off again. You notice your supplies are running low. You need to find gear quickly. You hear the familiar beeping sound that signifies a supply drop is about to occur. Looking up at the sky you begin searching for the weather balloon that will have a supply crate attached to it. Spotting the supply crate, you watch it fall gradually to the ground. Everybody knows, that seeing a loot crate is one thing, getting to it and opening it is another. What? This supply crate is locked! Solve the clues to reveal the code so that you can discover what loot is in the crate. The Puzzles: Puzzle 1: A grid logic puzzle Puzzle 2: A cryptogram Puzzle 3: 4 digit addition and subtraction problems Puzzle 4: Following Directions Puzzle 5: Reading charts and graphs Puzzle 6: Multiple single digit addition and subtraction Puzzle 7: Hundreds Board with multiples, addition and subtraction Puzzle 8: Algebra Puzzle Puzzle 9: Addition hexagon Puzzle 10: Addition circles Enjoy and please remember to follow me by clicking the following link to easily find my latest resources and receive discounts.
